WHAT ARE PDO THREADS?

Polydioxanone is a fully absorbable suture that has been used for more than 20 years in orthopedics, surgery, plastic surgery and ophthalmology.

PDO Threads have a high safety profile, complete absorption and minimal tissue reaction. PDO threads can lift and reposition sagging skin while also stimulating collagen and elastin production.

WHY USE PDO THREADS?

PDO Threads correct static, sagging skin creating an immediate restoration of a more youthful appearance. The process is minimally invasive and regenerates and improves the structure and texture of skin without the need for surgery. When inserted correctly, the risk for scarring is absent.

PDO THREAD TREATMENT

The PDO Thread is inserted into the subdermal tissue for temporary support of the area being treated. Over the next 6 months, the PDO threads dissolved creating collagen, elastic and hyaluronic acid. The skin becomes thicker, tighter and smoother giving a more youthful look.

Barbed threads are used to reposition, lift and secure static, sagging skin Smooth threads lift and stimulate collagen production.

Each treatment is tailored to your exact needs.

HOW LONG CAN PDO THREADS LAST?

PDO Threads begin to naturally dissolve after about 6 to 8 months. The effects will become more pronounced and natural over time as more collagen is stimulated. Even when the threads fully dissolve, the skin will still stay tight in its lifted position for as long as another 12 months because of the new collagen and elastin fibers that were formed.
